iDiscovery Solutions Adds Early Data Analyzer Software

GRC Announcements | May 24, 2012

Intelligent Discovery Solutions, a strategic consulting and expert services firm, has announced the streamlining of its early case assessment services through the implementation of LexisNexis' Early Data Analyzer (EDA) software.

EDA allows iDS experts to rapidly cull hundreds of gigabytes of data with the goal of narrowing the scope of ingestion and providing a targeted file set that is potentially more responsive to each client's matter. iDS now will provide clients with reports on file types, duplicates, e-mail domains, date ranges, and search results present in their data set.

By completing an inventory analysis prior to ingestion, iDS will be able to help clients make decisions about their data and ultimately their case in advance of production. In addition, project time-frames can be expedited, and cost savings can be achieved by providing clients with a more concentrated document set.

EDA adds another tool to the company's growing e-Discovery consulting practice. In the past year, iDS has added staff, services and other resources, such as Citrix-secured document hosting and review, to better serve its clients and address changes in the e-Discovery landscape.

iDS provides e-Discovery and enterprise security consulting services to law firms and corporations located throughout the world. iDS is staffed with professionals who are highly skilled and passionate about the fields of technology, security and law. Consultants work alongside legal teams and IT departments to provide expertise in computer forensics, database analysis, document hosting, enterprise security, and incident response, as well as the services of expert testimony, affidavits, and depositions.
