Berkeley Point Capital Names New Chief Risk Officer

Berkeley Point Capital, a multifamily capital solutions provider, has named Anurag Saksena as chief risk officer.

Previously, Saksena served as president of Global Risk & Capital Advisors, an independent risk consulting firm he founded in 2010. He served as chief enterprise risk officer at Freddie Mac from 2005 to 2010, where he led the development and management of a firm-wide framework for managing a full range of financial and non-financial risks.

Prior to Freddie Mac, Saksena led enterprise risk management for GMAX, a financial services arm of General Motors. Earlier in his career, he held several risk and portfolio management positions at Societe Generale, Royal Bank Financial Group and Great-West Life Assurance Company.
