Diebold Appoints New Corporate Controller

Scuttlebutt | April 23, 2012

Diebold, a provider of self-service delivery and security systems and services, has appointed Christopher Macey as corporate controller and vice president. He assumes this position from Leslie Pierce, who has retired after a 22-year career with the company.

Macey, who joined Diebold in October 2009, previously held the position of vice president of corporate accounting and external reporting for the company. In his new role, he will be responsible for Diebold's global accounting functions and internal financial control infrastructure, as well as all external financial reporting requirements.

Macey previously worked at PwC, where he spent 13 years in various accounting and audit-related roles, including two years in the firm's national technical office where he consulted on various technical accounting matters.
