Owens Corning Appoints New Director

Owens Corning, a global producer of residential and commercial building materials, glass-fiber reinforcements and engineered materials for composite systems, has appointed Suzanne Nimocks to its board of directors, effective September 12. She also was named to the compensation and governance and nominating committees.

Nimocks is a retired director of McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm. During her time there, she served a variety clients in areas such as strategy, corporate finance, business building, portfolio management, operations, organization and risk management.

Nimocks currently serves on several boards of directors including Encana, a natural gas exploration and production company; ArcelorMittal, a steel company; and Valerus, a natural gas compression company.
