XBRL Primer Posponed; Stay Tuned for Webcast Series

HOSTS & SPONSORS

ompliance Week's “XBRL Primer” has been postponed. Outstanding questions about the status and components of the SEC's final XBRL rule have forced Compliance Week to delay the event; as Compliance Week Editor-in-Chief Matt Kelly blogged on October 15, the SEC final rule—already several months late—was not unveiled at the XBRL International conference as expected. In fact, SEC Chairman Christopher Cox did not even deliver his keynote address.

Compliance Week will reschedule the event as soon as we have clarity on the final rule.

In the meantime, Compliance Week will host a five-part Webcast series on XBRL, featuring SEC officials and the voluntary XBRL filers who were scheduled to appear at Compliance Week’s “XBRL Primer,” including:

KEYNOTE

SEC Director, Office of Interactive Disclosure, David Blaszkowsky

VOLUNTARY XBRL FILERS
PepsiCo VP and Assistant Controller Marie Gallagher

Xerox VP and Chief Accounting Officer Gary Kabureck

AGL Resources SVP and Chief Accounting Officer Bryan Seas

Comcast XBRL and Accounting Project Leader Phillip Gaudreau

Details to be announced shortly. Thank you.
