Cynthia Jackson Cynthia Jackson is a partner in the North America Compensation & Employment Law practice of Baker & McKenzie.

Ms. Jackson provides both domestic and international employment counseling to clients including global coordination of personnel-related initiatives. Such counseling involves both domestic and international personnel policies and implementation, employment agreements, severance agreements and obligations, reductions in force, wage and hour compliance, workplace safety compliance, employment and data privacy issues, corporate social responsibility, protection of confidential information and trade secrets, employment ramifications of mergers and acquisitions, and other employment obligations, both here and abroad.

She is also a member of the firm’s Corporate Compliance Steering Committee.

Ms. Jackson also litigates by defending employers in the United States in litigation disputes involving wrongful discharge, state and federal discrimination laws, whistleblower, employment and compensation contracts, work-related tort claims, RICO-related employment claims, ERISA, Section 301 claims, wage and hour disputes and unfair business practice claims. She also represents employers in administrative proceedings, arbitration and class-actions.

She has written extensively on global compliance and employment law issues, and is a frequent speaker on labor and employment related matters.
