Nan Stout Nan Stout is Vice President of Business Ethics of Staples, Inc., the world’s largest office products company serving businesses and consumers in 27 countries throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Nan assumed this role in 2004, when she established the company’s first global ethics and compliance program. She joined Staples in 1994 and was Vice President, Assistant General Counsel with a focus on employment law until 2004.

From 1989 to 2004, Nan was an associate at the Palmer & Dodge law firm, where she specialized in employment law. From 1988 – 1989, Nan was an associate at Goldstein & Manello.

Nan is a 1988 graduate of Boston College Law School and a 1982 graduate of Middlebury College.
