Principal, Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services Practice
Leader, Corporate Compliance Advisory Services Practice, Americas
Ernst & Young

Jack Holleran Jack Holleran has more than 19 years of compliance, investigations and litigation experience. As a principal within Ernst & Young’s Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice, he leads the firm’s Corporate Compliance Advisory Services practice in the Americas. He helps clients identify compliance risks, implement compliance programs, make sure those programs are integrated and effective and measure their effectiveness.

During his tenure with Ernst & Young, Jack has helped Fortune 500 companies to define, identify and prioritize their compliance risks; to design, evaluate and enhance their compliance programs; and to integrate compliance processes and controls into business decision-making. He speaks frequently at conferences focused on corporate compliance and governance issues, including compliance program design and implementation, conducting investigations and audit committee reporting.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young in 2006, Jack was the Chief Compliance Officer at a major US consumer products company and the principal architect of its compliance program. He oversaw the implementation and enhancement of an enterprise-wide compliance program to address compliance with legal, regulatory and business requirements, along with leading industry practices. Prior to that, he led the effort to design and implement one of the nation’s most robust and effective anti-counterfeiting efforts, which dramatically reduced counterfeit and illegal internet sales. Prior to that, he spent several years in the company’s legal department as in-house counsel, where his responsibilities included compliance, litigation and internal investigations. Jack began his career at one of Virginia’s premier law firms where he was an accomplished trial lawyer.

Jack earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and his juris doctor degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law.
