Participate in PwC's 9th annual State of the Internal Audit Profession study to provide your viewpoint and perceptions on the internal audit function. The study will continue to analyze from a stakeholder's viewpoint (audit committee chairs, board members, CEOs, CFOs, CROs, CAEs, CCOs, and general counsel) how well the internal audit function is helping companies to reduce risk and address emerging risks, and it will expand upon the themes from last year's study, including the rapidly expanding risk landscape, the continually evolving tools and approaches internal auditors are deploying to help them fulfill their mission, and the effect of internal audit through the lens of various stakeholders. We will also probe the following areas:
- Stakeholders' increasing expectations of internal audit, and internal audit's ability to respond
- Business implications of ineffective response to risk
- Stakeholder alignment on internal audit's role and responsibilities
- Characteristics of organizations that are effectively managing risks with the support of internal audit
At the end of the survey you will also find additional questions about the evolving critical risks facing businesses across a range of industries. We will publish these findings in our 2nd annual Risk in Review paper, and we will be glad to share them with all who contribute.
The survey closes on Friday, Dec. 7, so please be sure your voice is heard and complete it before this date. The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
