Stuart Carroll, With Profits Finance Director, Legal & General

Stuart Carroll is the finance director for the with profits fund at Legal & General. He has been involved in Solvency II for the past four years with responsibility for implementing Solvency II within the Legal & General's Savings business division. His responsibilities for Solvency II has extended across Pillars 1, 2, and 3; and has included the development of methodology in addition to implementing new workflow and reporting. Prior to joining Legal & General, he worked on the implementation of the Swiss Solvency Test for the Life and Health business division at Swiss Re.
   
Emmanuel Noblet, Chief Operating Officer, SecondFloor

Emmanuel has been involved with SecondFloor since 2010, as a client while Deputy Chief Risk Officer at ING Insurance, joining SecondFloor in March 2012 as COO. Having transferred from the banking sector to insurance, and with many years experience, he has considerable knowledge of credit portfolio management, credit markets, liquidity, risk management and regulatory compliance. Emmanuel is a French national who has spent his career working in Belgium, UK, Germany and The Netherlands. Emmanuel has completed an MSc in Management from EM Lyon in France, an Executive Master in Quantitative Finance from Solvay Business School in Belgium and has just commenced a Global Executive Master in Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management ("OneMBA" program) in The Netherlands.
   
Curt Burmeister, Head of Buy Side Products, Risk Analytics, IBM

Curt Burmeister is the Head of Buy-Side Products for IBM Risk Analytics. In this role he is responsible for IBM's market risk solutions for asset managers, hedge funds, and insurance companies. Curt holds an MBA in Financial Engineering from MIT and a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from Cornell University.
