Compliance Week and the Open Compliance and Ethics Group—a non-profit organization that helps companies align their governance, risk, and compliance activities to drive business performance and promote integrity—began collaboration on the GRC Illustrated Series in 2006.

The interactive series looks to provide visual representations of key governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, with the ultimate goal of helping companies understand how to put principles into practice. (CLICK HERE to see more on GRC Illustrated from 2006 - 2010.)

The Source:

Compliance Week and The Open Compliance and Ethics Group have worked together on several initiatives going as far back as OCEG's landmark 2005 benchmarking study and reaching as far forward as Compliance Week's 7th Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. It was at CW's first conference that OCEG presented its inaugural illustration, and this series was subsequently conceived. The illustrations are designed by XPLANATIONS, an award-winning information design firm based in Portland, Ore.
