Comments Extended on Three Dodd-Frank Proposals

The Securities and Exchange Commission has extended the comment period for three rule proposals stemming from the Dodd-Frank Act that would require specialized new disclosures. The comment deadline for the proposals—which pertain to conflict minerals, mining, and government payments by extraction companies—was pushed from Jan. 31 to March 2.
