Survey Says: Consultants In Widespread Use

A Compliance Week analysis of 250 CD&As filed so far this year shows that 78 percent of companies used compensation consultants, mostly to conduct surveys of pay levels or to help prepare proxy disclosures. According to the Compliance Week analysis, just two firms, Towers Perrin and Mercer HR Consulting, were hired by one-third of companies surveyed.
