Kodak Names New General Counsel, Corporate Secretary

Eastman Kodak Company has promoted Sharon Underberg to the role of general counsel and secretary, effective Jan. 6. She succeeds Patrick Sheller, currently general counsel, secretary, and hief administrative officer, who has decided to leave the company to pursue a new opportunity.

With this appointment, Underberg joins Kodak’s Executive Leadership Team and will report to Chief Executive Officer Jeff Clarke. She will be responsible for leading the company’s global legal function and for providing legal guidance to senior leadership.

Currently Kodak’s deputy general counsel, Underberg has been an attorney with Kodak for 25 years. Prior to joining Kodak, she spent several years as an associate with theinternational law firm Fulbright & Jaworski (currently Norton Rose Fulbright). For much of her tenure with Kodak, Underberg has specialized in global commercial transactions, particularly acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and corporate financings.
