OppenheimerFunds names new chief risk officer

OppenheimerFunds, a global asset manager, has appointed Ahmad Deek as chief risk officer.

Deek will be responsible for leading the firm's risk management function and further enhancing its corporate governance structure. He will be based in New York and will join the firm's senior leadership team, and report directly to OppenheimerFunds Chairman and CEO Art Steinmetz.
