GRC Announcements | February 7, 2018

Exiger, a global regulatory, financial crime, risk and compliance firm, appointed George “Ren” McEachern as managing director in the company’s Global Investigations Group.

A decorated investigator widely recognized as one of the world’s leading anti-bribery authorities, McEachern will focus primarily on leading anti-bribery investigations and assisting multinational corporations and financial institutions with regulatory risk management. He joined Exiger from the FBI, where he was a Supervisory Special Agent heading the Washington Field Office International Corruption Squad with a focus on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), international money laundering, kleptocracy and antitrust investigations. McEachern was one of the architects of the FBI’s new global strategy on international corruption, which began in 2015, and included the creation of specialized FBI teams located in New York, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles.
