This week, the IRS faces a brutal tax cut of its own, Apple throttles its iPhones, and JPMorgan learns the hard way to do a better job at preventing money laundering.

No rest for the IRS | The GOP’s massive tax bill is likely to become law very soon and portends huge changes at the IRS … not all of them good. Turns out, whenever you do a major tax overhaul, it takes the IRS a ton of resources to implement it on its seriously old computer (as in, Kennedy-era) hardware. Given that the IRS’s budget is also being gutted, there are fears that this will send the IRS into a dysfunctional tailspin.
