Want some bipartisan action in Washington? It may not be much, but the leadership of both represented parties on the Senate Banking Committee are reaching out to their constituents for help.
Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) and Ranking Member Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) have announced a process for soliciting legislative proposals to increase economic growth.
“[We] have designed an orderly process for consideration of proposals that will help consumers, market participants, and financial companies responsibly participate in the economy in a more effective and efficient manner,” Crapo said in a statement. “We welcome input from all interested stakeholders to that end.”
