Volkswagen’s designs on compliance and integrity

Two very important aspects of Volkswagen’s largescale overhaul of its compliance programs, as well as a companywide referendum on its own culture, are a new Code of Conduct and an extended campaign to introduce the concept of integrity into every employee’s day-to-day thoughts, words and deeds. The company has put a great deal of time, energy, and resources into these parallel campaigns, and it now has versions of both it is rolling out worldwide. Compliance Week was given samples of each and access to those who helped conceptualize and execute both projects. What follows is a breakdown of the Code of Conduct as well as the Integrity Initiative.
