Compliance Week Events

Compliance Week hosts the annual conference for compliance and risk officers at public companies, as well as topical workshops, editorial roundtables, and a host of online forums. Details on each are listed below.

For more information on any of our events, please e-mail VP Sales Barry Greenfield, or call us toll-free at (888) 519-9200.

  1. Annual Conference

Held every year at the historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., Compliance Week’s annual conference is a peer-to-peer event that spotlights compliance leaders and their programs. It has featured the chief compliance officers of Google, Yahoo, HP, GE, Starbucks, Pfizer, PepsiCo, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Coca-Cola, Sprint, McDonald’s, Intel, Boeing, Fannie Mae, Altria, Ford, BP, Office Depot, Wal-Mart, and other leading public companies.

Past keynote speakers have included the chairmen and directors from the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the Department of Justice, and other global regulatory bodies. Compliance Week columnists, such as former SEC Chairman Harvey Pitt, are also featured.

These events, sponsored by a single firm, are invitation-only events that are covered in a subsequent edition of Compliance Week. The roundtables typically are attended by 8-12 corporate financial or legal officers from public companies; the event is designed so the attendees can compare and contrast their efforts and contribute recommendations and insights based on their experiences.

Compliance Week also hosts a growing list of interactive services for subscribers. Our Remediation Center, for example, is an anonymous forum in which subscribers can submit questions, confidentially, to securities and accounting experts.
