PwC Promotes Two Key Leaders

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has appointed Juan Pujadas as global leader of the advisory practice. Pujadas will also remain in his role as U.S. leader of the advisory practice. Pujadas has spent much of his career in financial services and is experienced in many markets around the world. He has led the firm’s U.S. advisory practice since its creation in 2004.

In addition, PwC announced the promotion of R. Carter Pate to the role of managing partner of the U.S. advisory practice. In this role, Pate will have day-to-day responsibility for the management of the firm’s U.S. advisory practice and will report directly to Pujadas.

Pate will continue to serve as leader of the global and U.S. health industries group, a role he was appointed to in 2007, in which he oversees services across all health-related industries.

Pate joined PwC in 1994 and has been a key leader in the firm’s public sector and health industries practices. Since 2004, he has served as managing partner of the firm’s federal government practice. He also has served as the managing partner of all PwC’s national and regional offices, and was a member of the firm’s U.S. leadership team from 1999 to 2004.
