Events offering CPE credit

Compliance Week offers NASBA CPE credit at the in-person conferences and live webcasts listed below. If an event or webcast page doesn’t say it offers CPE, it doesn’t. Each event’s page shows its credits, program level, field of study, and learning objectives, and its agenda marks which sessions are eligible for CPE.

Webcasts: Webcasts: CPE is available when you attend a webcast live. Only members can receive CPE credit for on-demand webcasts. Each webcast’s registration page lists its credits, field of study, program level, and learning objectives.

Earning CPE credit and attendance

Credit is based on the sessions you attend in full. One CPE credit equals 50 minutes of instruction. Credits listed on each event page are the maximum available; your final total depends on your attendance. Credits start at 0.5 or 1.0 and then increase in increments of [0.2 / 0.5].

  • Type of program: Group program (in-person conference or live webcast).
  • Tracking attendance: We verify attendance at each CPE session with polling questions/attendance tracking at unpredictable times. For webcasts, these are polling questions or attendance prompts in the webcast platform. You must respond to these prompts to earn credit. Signing in for yourself alone does not count.
  • Partial attendance: If you arrive late or leave early, credit is reduced to the time you actually attended. Breaks, meals, welcomes and housekeeping, and networking do not count toward CPE. Interactive Q&A with speakers does count.
  • Engagement: Every credit hour includes participant engagement, such as polling questions, group discussion, or case studies.
  • Certificates: You’ll receive a certificate of completion by email within 60 days after the event. It lists Compliance Week as the sponsor, your name, the program title, date, location (for in-person events), type of program (group program), credits earned by field of study, our NASBA sponsor ID, and a statement that credits are based on a 50-minute hour.
  • Records: We keep attendance records and certificates for at least five years.
  • Evaluations: After each event, you’ll receive a short evaluation covering the program, its speakers, and whether the learning objectives were met.

Registration, refunds, and cancellations

Registration: Register on each event’s website. To receive CPE, give your full name as it should appear on your certificate, plus your email address.

Cancellations (in-person conference): No refunds: All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. If you can’t attend, you may transfer your ticket to a colleague at no extra charge. Requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event. Instead of canceling, you can apply your ticket value to a future Compliance Week event of equal value. Requests must be made at least 7 days before the event. Credits are valid for 12 months. Tickets are forfeited if you don’t attend and no substitution or credit request has been made in advance.

Program changes: We may change speakers or sessions when needed. If a change affects the CPE credits offered, we’ll update the event’s CPE page and let registered attendees know.
