The European Data Protection Board (EDPB), the EU’s main authority for overseeing compliance and enforcement with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), has made checking organizations’ compliance with the GDPR’s transparency requirements a key area of focus for the coming year under its Coordinated Enforcement Framework (CEF).
