Companies that transfer staff from one EU member state to work temporarily in another will benefit from a new digital portal designed to simplify official worker declarations and related administration. The EU Parliament has announced that this will affect an estimated 3.6 million postings, involving around 2.6 million workers in the EU.

The Parliament said in a statement that the portal will reduce administration costs and time, enhance transparency, increase legal certainty and aid the effective enforcement of EU rules across the single market.
