The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has launched a Corporate Crime and Antitrust Task Force to focus on complex fraud and misconduct investigations.
The task force will prioritize antitrust violations, health care fraud, and other consumer fraud by corporations and executives, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr. said in a news release Wednesday. The task force will expand on the office’s current emphasis on identifying “the structures and entities that enable and profit from crime,” the office said.
