CA Technologies announced on Oct. 5 that it has completed the acquisition of privately-held Arcot Systems for $200 million in an all-cash transaction. Full details on acquisition, announced in August, can be found here.
The acquisition of Arcot adds visionary technology for fraud prevention and advanced authentication to CA Technologies leading Identity and Access Management offerings. Arcot solutions—delivered as on-premises software or as a cloud service—also build on CA Technologies cloud security strategy and help accelerate the company’s delivery of IAM solutions as a comprehensive service from the cloud.
