Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit on Monday against two pharmaceutical companies over what he calls ”deceptively marketing Tylenol to pregnant mothers despite knowing that early exposure to acetaminophen, Tylenol’s only active ingredient, leads to a significantly increased risk of autism and other disorders.” This filing came two days before U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared to have walked back the claims of a link between the drug and autism.
