Actiance, a compliance, security, archiving and e-Discovery provider for critical business communications, announced that it now supports Skype for Business and Yammer. With Actiance’s extended support, companies can control, monitor, and archive all their critical communications as they move to the cloud and as they adopt new communication channels.

Actiance now enables organizations to monitor, control, and archive all conversations in Yammer and Skype for Business, including instant messaging, persistent chats, Web conferences, and voice calls. Customers can determine how much and what kind of content needs to be retained, and then set granular policies that capture only the most relevant content on premise or in the cloud.

Actiance previously provided active compliance and archiving for Microsoft Lync professional users, and will continue to do so as companies transition to Skype for Business. Actiance also supports Office on-premise software including Exchange, SharePoint and Skype for Business.

Actiance helps large organizations—especially those in financial services, healthcare, pharma, energy, and the public sector—meet their supervisory, record-keeping and e-Discovery obligations for Office 365. To improve their governance of Office 365, organizations can use Actiance Vantage to monitor communications to identify business critical content needing to be retained and scan for compliance events needing review by a supervisor. They can then archive e-mail and IM in Alcatraz, Actiance’s context-aware cloud archive, to reduce the cost of e-Discovery by uniquely displaying dynamic social content in context. Actiance ensures chain of custody through tamper-proof capture and archiving to a WORM-compliant repository.
