Albemarle Corporation, a specialty chemical company, has appointed Andrew McBride as chief compliance officer.
McBride joins Albemarle from BHP Billiton, a global resources company he joined in 2009 as global head of competition, in its London office. Following that role, he became acting chief compliance officer for BHP in its Australian headquarters before moving on to the role of associate general counsel, compliance.
