Vancouver-based Avigilon, a global provider of end-to-end security solutions, has promoted Ric Leong to chief accounting officer and senior vice president.

Working closely with the chief financial officer and the senior management team, Leong leads the company's accounting operations on a global basis, including public company reporting, treasury, and financial planning and analysis.

Prior to joining Avigilon as vice president of finance in July 2014, Leong served in several financial leadership positions, including corporate controller and director of business planning at two large U.S.-listed public companies.
