Ed O’Keefe, deputy general counsel and global legal operations executive of Bank of America, will be joining the litigation practice group of law firm Moore & Van Allen in May.

At Moore & Van Allen, O’Keefe will build on his substantial experience in financial services, regulatory, litigation, employment, intellectual property, and cyber-security matters. His professional background encompasses many aspects of the banking industry, including the laws and regulations financial institutions must navigate.

O’Keefe joined BofA in 2004 and held numerous roles during his tenure, including as general counsel from 2009 until 2012. He also served as head of litigation; global compliance and operational risk executive; senior privacy executive; and deputy general counsel for staff support functions.
