Central Pacific Financial, parent company of Central Pacific Bank, has appointed Glenn Ching to executive vice president, chief legal officer and division manager of risk management, effective Jan. 1, 2016. 

Ching, who joined Central Pacific Bank in 2002, is currently senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of the company.  In his new role, he will continue to oversee the legal, compliance, Bank Secrecy Act, and operations risk mitigation functions of the bank, as well as enterprise risk management, and will continue to serve as corporate secretary.
