Crawford & Company, a provider of claims management solutions to insurance companies and self-insured entities, has appointed Joseph Blanco as senior vice president and general counsel.

Blanco has been serving as the company’s interim general counsel since September2016. In his new permanent position, Blanco is a member of the company’s global executive management team and reports directly to Crawford’s president and CEO.

Blanco most recently served as managing partner of the Atlanta office of law firm Dentons. He also served as vice chair of the

corporate department of McKenna, Long & Aldridge prior to its merger with Dentons.
