Dean Foods Names New General Counsel, Corporate Secretary

Food and beverage company Dean Foods has appointed Marc Kesselman as general counsel and corporate secretary, effective as of Jan. 26. He reports Chief Executive Officer Gregg Tanner.

Kesselman assumes his new position from  Rachel Gonzalez, who stepped down in September to accept a similar position at a publicly traded company.

Kesselman joins Dean Foods from PepsiCo, where he was general counsel of Frito-Lay North America and PepsiCo's food businesses in North and South America. In that capacity, he oversaw a wide variety of complex commercial, transactional, litigation, regulatory, and government affairs issues relating to PepsiCo's food business in North and South America.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Kesselman served as general counsel of the Department of Agriculture.
