DreamWorks Animation announced last week in a Form 8-K filing that Edward Aleman, the company's chief accounting officer, notified the company of his intent to resign for personal health reasons.

DreamWorks said it currently anticipates that Aleman will terminate his employment with the company no later than Feb. 29. Upon Aleman’s departure, Chief Financial Officer Fazal Merchant will assume the title of chief accounting officer on an interim basis, while the company commences a search for a permanent replacement for Aleman.
