EY has appointed Michael Inserra as EY Americas vice chair. Additionally, Anthony Caterino will succeed Inserra as Ernst & Young vice chair and regional managing partner of the Financial Services Organization (FSO).

Inserra, who has been the current vice chair and regional managing partner of the Ernst & Young FSO since 2013, will be leaving the role to lead markets and operations for the EY Americas area and will succeed Gary Belske as deputy managing partner of Ernst & Young upon Belske's retirement. Caterino will now oversee FSO practices in the Americas, which include advisory, assurance, tax and transaction services, as well as the wealth and asset management, banking and capital markets, and insurance sectors.

With more than 23 years of financial services experience at EY, Caterino has held a number of client-serving leadership roles within the organization during his career. He most recently served as FSO market segment leader for the Southeast Region of the Ernst & Young, which he co-founded in 2002. In this role, he built a team of more than 800 professionals, and was instrumental in helping found the firm's FSO wealth management advisory practice in 2009.
