Famous Dave's of America, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAVE) today announced the appointment of John (Jack) P. Beckman as the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer effective February 16, 2015.

Jack Beckman has been employed by the Company since 2009, serving as the Assistant Controller from 2009 to 2011, Controller from 2011 to 2013, Director of Finance, Accounting and Audit from 2013 to 2014, and Sr. Director, Chief Accounting Officer from 2014 until his appointment to his current position.

Restaurant chain Famous Dave's of America has promoted John (Jack) Beckman as vice president, chief accounting officer, effective as of Feb. 16.

Previously, Beckman was senior director, chief accounting officer of Famous Dave's.

Beckman, who joined Famous Dave's in 2009, also formerly served as assistant controller from 2009 to 2011; controller from 2011 to 2013; and director of finance, accounting and audit from 2013 to 2014.
