Welbilt, a global provider of commercial foodservice equipment, has nominated Janice Fields to stand for election to its board of directors at its 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on April 27, 2018.

Fields has served as president of McDonald’s USA, a subsidiary of McDonald’s Corporation, a global foodservice retailer, from 2010 until her retirement in 2012. During her 35-year career at McDonald’s, Fields held numerous roles, starting as a crew member to holding several executive positions within McDonald’s USA, including U.S. Division President for the Central Division from 2003 through 2006 and executive vice president and chief operating officer from 2006 through 2010, when she was named president.

Fields currently serves on the board of directors of Monsanto since 2008, including as chair of its sustainability and corporate responsibility committee since 2015; Chico’s since 2013, including as chair of its governance and nominating committee since 2014; Buffalo Wild Wings, from 2016 to 2018, including as its chair from August 2017 to February 2018; and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Global Brand since 2012.
