Zurich North America appoints Canada chief risk officer

Kundi will report to North America Chief Risk Officer Colleen Zitt and will be a member of her leadership team. She will also be a member of the Zurich Canada executive committee and will work in the Toronto office.

“Kundi will support Canada as a partner to local management and will ensure that risk frameworks and controls are in place and executed effectively to mitigate material risk to the organization,” the company said. She will lead as a risk champion at various committees and provide management reporting and support to local regulatory risk requirements.

Kundi joins Zurich from Aviva Group, where she was a senior enterprise risk management leader with more than 15 years of global insurance experience. She has a proven global track record in both market and group roles in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, and Australia.
