Digital asset platform Amber Group announced the appointment of Benjamin Bai as chief legal officer and global head of compliance.

In his new role, Bai will spearhead the development of risk management frameworks and approaches. He will provide business-enabling legal and compliance guidance and work closely with Amber Group’s leadership team and stakeholders.

Previously, Bai worked for Ant Group, where he served as vice president and chief intellectual property and international litigation counsel.

Prior to that, Bai served as partner at law firms Jones Day and Allen & Overy, where he focused on high-stake IP litigation and licensing.
