Arvest Bank announced the promotion of Renee Huffaker to chief compliance officer.

Huffaker has more than 25 years of banking and regulatory experience, including more than five years at Arvest, where she was hired as a compliance senior manager. In her role as chief compliance officer, Huffaker is responsible for the development and implementation of Arvest’s enterprise-wide compliance program and oversight of the related compliance managers and teams.

Huffaker’s promotion comes less than a month after Arvest promoted former chief compliance officer Cara James to chief risk officer. James replaced Bob Kelly, who retired after more than 30 years with Arvest, effective Dec. 31.
