British multinational infrastructure group Balfour Beatty has named Daniel LaFrance vice president and chief compliance officer for its buildings, civils, and investments operations in the United States.

In this newly created role, LaFrance will drive legal, regulatory, and operational compliance and manage risk assessments nationwide.

LaFrance spent the past 16 years at Colas USA, serving most recently as chief ethics and compliance officer. Before that, he worked as assistant general counsel and director of corporate affairs at the company.
