Nonprofit BBB National Programs announced the addition of NPR Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, and Secretary Elizabeth Allen to its board. Re-elected to the board was EXL Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer Joel Katz.

Allen joined NPR in February 2021 with 25 years of legal experience. Before that, she spent 16 years at Gannett, serving as its vice president, general counsel and secretary. She first joined Gannett as assistant general counsel in 2004.

Katz was re-elected for the 2023-26 term. He previously served as chief ethics and compliance officer and head of employment law for Booz Allen Hamilton. Before that, he was the chief integrity and compliance officer for Resideo Technologies.
