Global medical technology firm Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) announced the promotion of Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer Michelle Quinn to general counsel.

Quinn has responsibility for leading the law group at BD and will continue to report to Tom Polen, chairman, chief executive, and president.

She joined BD in 2019 and previously served as acting general counsel in addition to her role as senior vice president, deputy general counsel and chief ethics and compliance officer. Before joining BD, she was vice president and general counsel of North America for Sandoz, a division of Novartis. Prior to that, she served as vice president and associate general counsel at Catalent Pharma Solutions.
