Blockchain.com has named Lindsey Haswell as chief legal officer and chief administrative officer. In this role, she will be responsible for leading the legal, compliance, and HR teams for the cryptocurrency blockchain company.

Haswell joins Blockchain.com after serving in the same role at Lime, where she managed legal, HR, communications, insurance, trust, and safety, Blockchain.com CEO Peter Smith wrote in a blog post. Prior to Lime, Haswell was a founding member of Uber’s legal team, overseeing many complex, then-developing legal and regulatory issues in the rideshare industry.

Before joining Uber and starting her own venture-backed software company for autonomous vehicle fleets, Haswell spent a decade at law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she focused on litigation and regulatory matters for tech clients.
