Pharmaceutical company Calliditas Therapeutics appointed Brian Gorman as group general counsel, effective Jan. 1.

Gorman joins Calliditas after having served most recently as executive vice president, corporate development and general counsel at Opiant Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Indivior.

Prior to that, he held senior legal leadership roles at Endo Pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer). He began his career at international law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
