Camden National Bank announced the promotion of Senior Vice President, Director of Information Security & Enterprise Risk Management David Ackley Jr. to executive vice president and chief risk officer.

He succeeds Joanne Campbell, who is retiring effective July 7.

Ackley brings more than a decade of banking experience to the position, previously being responsible for “oversee[ing] information security, cybersecurity, [Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act] testing, and many facets of enterprise risk management,” according to his LinkedIn profile.

Campbell previously announced her retirement after 27 years at the bank. She joined the bank as vice president of residential mortgages before transitioning to senior vice president of compliance and ultimately building the bank’s enterprise risk management function.
