Mortgage loan subservicer Cenlar FSB announced the appointment of Marlon Groen as chief compliance officer.

With more than 20 years of experience in mortgage lending and servicing, Groen brings extensive knowledge in regulatory compliance, change management, and examination oversight. He will be responsible for continuing to build the company’s compliance management system to ensure it meets all regulatory requirements.

Prior to joining Cenlar, Groen served as chief risk and compliance officer at AHP Servicing. He also worked at PHH for 11 years, where he served in several roles, including senior vice president, CCO and vice president, head of regulatory affairs. Groen also previously served as senior counsel and chief compliance officer at Arlington Capital Mortgage Corp.

He succeeds Chief Compliance Officer Jennifer Rowen, who is being promoted to senior vice president, core operations.
