Out-of-home advertising company Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings announced the appointment of Ted White, co-founder and chief compliance officer of Legion Partners Asset Management, to its board of directors.

White is a managing director at Legion Partners as well. Prior to this, he served at Knight Vinke Asset Management in positions such as managing director and chief operating officer.

He is a former deputy director of the Council of Institutional Investors. Earlier in his career, he was a portfolio manager, director of corporate governance for the California Public Employees’ Retirement System.
