Comerica Bank announced Brian Goldman has been named senior executive vice president and chief risk officer, effective Dec. 4.

Goldman will report to Comerica Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Curt Farmer, as well as to the enterprise risk committee of the board of directors. He will succeed Jay Oberg in the role.

Goldman has held risk management roles at both Goldman Sachs and Citi, most recently serving as head of operational risk for the institutional clients group and Citibank, the primary U.S. banking subsidiary of Citigroup.
